Description
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh… That good feeling when you get back in the swing of things.
I have just updated my Worn Rubber and Rusty Painted Metal shaders. A fellow Blender user on Instagram pointed out to me yesterday that the Rusty Metal shader I made is the same as the Rusty Painted Metal one; and, with a few small exceptions, he was right. Because of that, I readjusted the controls for the metal amount inside the node group. While I was editing this, I also decided to add some controls for the rust color. With the Worn Rubber shader, I added the ability to have cracks as well.
I’ve begun to add a few new pages to my website. The two main new pages are a tutorials page and a material library. These don’t have any information yet, but I will be working on adding some. I’ve also added the ability to make comments on any portfolio page, along with a few others, because for some reason this was disabled. I don’t think my first tutorial will come out for a while, but I do have the topic for it. Stay tuned for when it does!

I'm stalking following you on BlendSwap as I'm reasonably certain I will be stealing needing some of your textures at some stage XD
Nice work on the worn rubber, it has that horrible flakey look to it where you don't want to touch it in case it's sticky XD Also looks like corroded metal if I look up the top though, I'm so confused.

Hahaha niiice lol!
Thank you! Yea I've actually just updated it a couple days ago because it was pointed out to me that I looked more like metal or stone than rubber lol. And with that said, I'm actually going to make a corroded metal shader out of the old rubber shader. Hopefully I'll have time for that today after I upload my tractor.

That is very, very nice looking old metal. It has cracks, worn-outs, places where rust was... But I'm not so sure about it being rubber...

Adding to that, I think that this could serve as a metallic shader too; I'll mess around with that this week

I see where you're coming from but take a look at these pics of the tractor with these materials.
