This photo is perfect! Her colors look amazing, and the pose you captured her in makes her look very animated.
She could be a disney character, about to make some sassy comment
Wonderful job!

Love this, it's so clear and also has great colours Her neck is so flexible woah!
Where did you see them and be able to get so close? We have deer near where I live but they always run away when I try to get close :S

Thanks! This was taken in the new forest, one of my favourite places in the world It's all about the waiting game, my formula is to track them and try to get ahead of them, then you just have to be lucky and wait for them to come to you. You're so lucky to have deer near you. I have a really helpful tracking sheet, I could tell you the make if you like.

I love the new forest! I've only been once, but the wild ponies were just amazing. You'd just wake up and see them across the wall
I have not patience LOL. That's why most of my pictures are of dogs or flowers, they don't run away!
Yup, in richmond park. Do you know the video of the dog Fenton chasing the deer? That's there!
yeah okay What does it do?

It's so great ain't it! The waiting is the worst part, especially when you have just one song stuck in your head. I've heard Richmond park is really nice, that's the really big one isn't it? (i know almost nothing about the London area) It's called 'a guide to british mammal tracks and signs' by FSC It just tells you what the footprints look like and how big they are, you can use it to follow them but most often it just tells you where the animals are around most.

I know! But what I find worse is chasing one animal (usually a bird) all over the place! You get close, then it flies about 6 metres away, then you get close, then it flies away again!
Yeah, it is really big. There's two, richmond and bushy park. The deer are actually pretty common there, you just don't really want to get too close, they could buck :S
OOh, I might buy it, I've seen footprints a few times and always want to know what they are

Grrrrrrrr, that's horrible when that happens! but I suppose that's where sitting and waiting has the advantage.

You used a 70-300mm, I guess ?
I have the same camera, and thought purchasing the same lens.

Im so glad you think so! And yes, I do. It's the sigma 70-300mm and it has a good macro function as well. I would highly recommend it.
