Best character: Charlie Brown
Oh, come on. He's such an iconic character, how could I NOT put him at the top of the list? Charlie Brown is certainly one of my favorite cartoon characters, along with SpongeBob SquarePants.
Underrated character: Heather Wold
I know she's not really underrated, but I had to choose a character, so I chose her. A great date for Charlie Brown!
Underhated character: Mimi
Goodness! What a borefest of a character! People say Heather is a boring character, but she's nothing compared to Mimi. Mimi talks about nothing but botany. I'm not a big fan of characters with this trait. I personally find them to be uninteresting. But Mimi is on her own level of boring! The only good thing about her is that she has a power no other character does have - to slow down time!
Overrated character: Linus van Pelt
I'm probably gonna get a bunch of flak for choosing him, but really, I think he gets a tad bit too much praise. Yes, he is a great character, and yes, he is a great friend for Charlie Brown. But the problem I have with Linus, is that sometimes, he can be a real jerk! Probably the best example of this is in Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! Charlie Brown has to read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, known for its massive length. And instead of sympathizing with Charlie Brown, he tells Charlie Brown that Tolstoy's wife wrote the book seven times in quilt, and remarks that Charlie Brown can't read it once. Uh, hello? The difference is that Charlie Brown is an 8-year-old kid who's been given a limited amount of time to read a book way beyond his reading level! And this is also the same special where Charlie Brown falls asleep, so Linus dances with Heather Wold. Darn it!
Overhated character: Peppermint Patty
She isn't the best character, not by far, but a pretty fun character that gets way too much hate. I'm not the biggest fan of how much she likes Chuck, but still.
Worst character: Violet Gray
We really didn't need a clone of Lucy. I actually think Mimi is worse, but I had to put a character here, so Violet it is.
