Found this little guy coiled up near a spring plant I was about to take a shot of.

Nearly stepped on it as it was under the carpet of leaf litter I was about to move on to, But lucky for this little critter I looked just in time to see it as my heel moved the leaf away it was hiding under to reveal this neat little coil.

It was cold enough out that it didn't move away, Instead it just sat there soaking up the small bit o sun rays it could and let me take a bunch of photos of it. Spring is a great time to find the wild life out and about as the plants aren't around yet to hide them.
