Description
First attempt to draw a portrait...Many mistakes, i know, but i'm quite proud of this one.
Took about 3 hours. (Slow i know...
)Done with Graphite pencils.
Used a kneadable eraser.
I kept the shading very shallow. Didn't want it to
be too smooth. Like the roughness of it.
The black frame was done in Photoshop CS2. Didn't want to spend too much time colouring a large ass black area with pencils...

i think the only thing that really bothers me about this is the positioning of the lips, otherwise this is a great portrait, nice black to white tones and sharp details

omg are you kidding me, you are amazing! lol dont even think for a second that you arent as good, you are absolutely amazing with the pencils, most of my work is digital now days, I can draw, but my medium is ball point pen LOL i dont use pencils much unless im sketching out something im going to do in ink heh, you are very good

I like the angle you drew her.
I really like the nose, looks perfect
maybe you change a little your shading techniques, you should avoid strong lines like on her cheek. cover them with layer of horizontal lines to get them away. just a little hint
