Oh, she is a alchemist? Whenever I think of alchemy, I think of Fullmetal Alchemist with Edward and Alphonse Elric.

Same here. Itβs easily my favorite anime. Valeβs alchemy is much more based in traditional alchemy though.

Itβs totally different from FMA, but I love how FMA did it. I think itβll be fun to do something more true to original alchemy, but still magical.

But I think her backstory is interesting that she's learning how to alchemy but has to face discrimination because of her culture's view of women learning alchemy like Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender when she learned women are not allowed to use waterbending for combat in the Northern Water Tribe but for medical reasons like healing wounds.

Exactly. I think it will be a very interesting story as well. Katara and the northern water tribe was such a good story line, although a little unbelievable that everyone was suddenly just okay with women learning water bending as a martial art afterwards.

She is quite tall. The baggy pants detract from it somewhat, but her legs are pretty long.
She has a whole backstory thatβs gotten pretty in depth and I have several plot points.

Most girls are already fully grown by 16. Girls stop growing when their menstrual cycle is regular, and most girls are regular by sixteen. Not all of course, but most of them. She might get a little taller, but sheβs probably gonna cap out at 5β9β. A 5β11β alchemist girl would be pretty bad ass though.

Yeah itβs a bit different. Her being so tall will definitely help her pass as a boy when sheβs trying to go undercover to learn alchemy.
Itβs good to hear that you would read. I know the Chief would as well, but she doesnβt really interact with writings as much as drawings. She likes them but doesnβt have much feedback.

Iβve already gotten the best plan. Sheβs doing alchemy stuff in the alchemy βlabβ designated hut for alchemy, but then, tHeReS a CoMmOtIoN oUtSiDe. This commotion? OH nO wOmAn DiD tHe aLcHeMy wOmAn BaD- so then she goes out to defend and I guess thereβll be a mulan type of moment where she escapes trouble somehow.
She strikes me as the type who is a very high reading level and is easily bored with the books sheβs supplied for school, so she thinks she doesnβt like to read. Then, sheβs going to find books that interest her, and sheβll develop a love for reading, which will read to a love of writing. Just my theory.
