Yay! Moon juice is made out of moon fruit, which grows as a very round white fruit (thus named moon) and itβs very sweet and nutritious! Its products are the most popular food export of Zelare. It can also be cooked with spices and made into a sauce that goes on their planetβs official dish, which is a sweet sticky rice with pieces of fresh moon fruit and the moon fruit sauce.

Itβs meant to be eaten with a wide wooden spoon, (they eat most things with either their hands or this spoon) they believe wooden utensils keep the flavor best. Plastic and metal are processed and make the flavor worse.
They donβt have many savory dishes, but what would you expect from jelly people?

YeSss they also use wooden bowls a lot, but the moon fruit βshellβ is frequently used. The βshellβ is also edible, although many donβt prefer it since itβs kinda tough. The flavor is very strong though! In modern times, thatβs where the concentrated flavor is extracted from for candies and things.

Jelly culture doesnβt eat like humans do, they generally have many light snacks throughout the day, and one larger meal in the evening time. So in school, they might have two or three short βlunchβ breaks, rather than one long one like human schools. Jellies can of course eat on a human schedule though, and many living on earth do so.

Yep! Jellies donβt really process non-sugary things as well. Like they can, absolutely, but like, humans can eat paper, you feel me? Jellies are naturally vegetarian, they donβt eat meat, (although animal products like milk, honey, and eggs are fine with them) Some jellies do choose to eat meat on occasion on earth, although it makes most jellies sick to do so.

Yeah! They like human candy a lot, although generally they donβt prefer American candy. It doesnβt taste like real sugar to them, and their advanced sweet palettes can tell. Especially American chocolate. They LOVE European sweets though. Zelare is crazy about Swedish chocolates and German gummies. Europe makes so much money off of Zelareβs candy trade lmao.
