Looking through some of my old drawings and found this and realised I hadn't uploaded it.A compilation of various sketches I've done in the last three or four years of some characters I've been trying to design. There going to be three - guy, girl and a dog (who I haven't drawn at all yet
) and the'll be one or more of the following; police, detectives, P.I's, lawyers or a combination.As you can see I thought of the dude's name off the mark, but I'm having difficulty picking one for the gal. Obviously I still need to work more on this, just thought I'd submit it anyway

shveet. i like the idea of a keychain on the gun. and i remember u telling about this idea in yr 12(ish). i think i like this idea for a comic better than miguel's ever-changing one.(Altho i still cant get past how awesome the main character would be if "he looks like kenshin...but he kills shit!")
wish i could help w/the name. i reckon she looks like an allice, but its really up to you. maybe google popular names in the 30's.

I figured a while back though, that I don't tell stories through comics and writing. I like to draw captured moments, frozen in time - things like that can tell many stories. The indigo plateau and Fu lion gate pics I did are prime examples of this 'philosophy'. Yeah names usually come to me eventually, but they're the hardest part about designing a character!

Heh yeah you're right, also my aunt reckons the pose of that one looks exactly like some famous French photo but I've never heard of it or the artists! subliminal influences maybe?

Totally subliminal influences hehe but then its pretty hard to make sometihng 100% original these days, that isnt (at least in someones eyes) referncing something
