Number 10 of my Alphabet Challenge, J for Jazz from Transformers. I'm starting to get a bit lax with drawing one of these everyday but I am determined to see this through!

I haven't drawn a mech in ages and haven't drawn Transformers in even longer. I suppose the absence of a cartoon of TF Armada's caliber and the disappointing mess that was the recent movie trilogy sort of disillusioned me.

So this is a tribute to better days with Generation 1 era Jazz. Based him mostly off my Reveal the Shield series action figure of Jazz as it's probably my favourite re-imagining of his design.

I really wanted to get the feeling of weight with this one, and the crosshatching with the ballpoint pen was a good way to do this and build up texture. I'm pretty happy with this, it's good to be drawing giant robots again
