Zeus, Poseidon and Hades the three brothers who each ruled part of the earth as gods in Greek mythology.I drew this for my layout design class. The brief was to design a 6 page brochure but it could be about anything as long as it reflected our inspirations. I decided to go with mythology, because it's always been an influence on me. Then it was just a matter of narrowing it down to a culture which was tough!
I went with this idea as it flowed nicely into a brochure fold and Greek mythology gave me a good framework to go on.

Very cool. I like how the coloring seems limited in a way; not too much variety. keeps the whole thing unified, even though it's split into three different scenes, essentially.

Thanks! Yeah I was looking over all my artwork and realised that most often the linework and colour compete for attention.
So I decided form now on I'll make the lines the focus and have colour as a supporting element because I like doing detailed lines more
