Good'ol Magnemite, all the new electric beasts have nothing on this guyDon't have much to say about this, just been replaying FireRed recently, bringing back all the good memories. Somewhere in all the new, fantasmagorical Pokeyman generations I'd forgotten how cool and simple the gen 1 designs were.
I reckon this guy's sound clip is my fave, I just imagine him floating around then 'dooot'. Yeah, I dunno - anyway that's what inspired this!

Heh well, Pikachu is overrated and Luxray = an electric Arcanine wannabe with a poor movepool!
But the Magnetbros, Jolteon and also Manectric wage battles of sheer might and majesty.

I stopped with Emerald. Unbelievably, I seem to have outgrow Pokemon, in favour of the more violent stuff. Dead Space 2, Final Fantasy, Halo Reach and COD.

Yeah, because copious and senseless violence really shows how grown up you are..
People don't give Pokemon enough credit, it's just as deep and has as much strategy as the next rpg. Not that strategy matters much in reach or COD.

Well, its more survival shooters that I'm into. Its not that I dont give Pokemon enough credit. It's more that it was a part of my life that I appreciated, but its just far too complicated. I preferred just the original 151, and I was happy with 251, but after that, it seemed liked it was being stretched out, so I outgrew it.

I suppose I can see what you mean there, I recently did a solo Charizard run on FireRed and enjoyed it much more than any of the Gen 4 games I've played (though I haven't played HGSS yet, so I hope to be proven wrong!)
I'm thinking I'm going to skip Black and White though, I'm not impressed at all with what I've seen of gen 5..

Yeah, my friend gave me the jap version of white on emulator and I was even more put off by it. Oh, by the way, I've finally built myself another deck, so Mikey is gonna organise a game day with me, you and David. You still using a Dragon deck? If so, we will do well together in tag duels.
