Description This is my darling cat Frosty, who was put to sleep earlier this year. This is the first ever photo of her we took, and her fur is so white, as that was the only time she ever had a bath

This was shot on the table outside, after we decided to keep her , hope you enjoy, and aren't sick of everyday kitty photos

Thankyou We worked it out the other day, she was about 65 in human years.. At least she lead a long healthy life with kind slaves (us ). I still miss her from time to time, but Winston is enough of a handful so he keeps our minds occupied

Thanks again, and thanks for the add to the friends list

Yeah, our cats have mostly very pleasing lifes! 65 years is not quite old but anyway if she had good times it is a comfort. I hope you didn't treat her like the one guy the other up there in your avatar!

You are very welcome on my watch list!

Petey and Jaydee? One of them keeps dying every episode, but he comes back alive. Animated violence is the best kind! (and should be the only kind!)

I do miss her still. I have another cat now, Winston (check out my ~Grayda-Photo account for a few pictures of him) and he's adorable. SO much different from Frosty, coz Frosty came home under my dad's work car (11km trip from town to town, and survived ;D), and because she had a rough start to life, didn't really act like your general house cat. Winston on the other hand runs inbetween your legs, plays with toys and sticks and stuff, and is more cat than Frosty was. But Frosty was unique, and I'll always love and miss her.

Thanks for the comment, and the . Means a lot to me ;D

No Prob..

Winston is so adorable! My cat sounds a little like Frosty. He has a strange disposition to us Humans due to the fact i rescued him en route to the local canal in a black binbag. When i look at him and think what might have been his end, i freeze up inside. But its just a godsend that i got him when i did. The person responsible was never punished for his acts. My cats father was actually Drowned in the bath by this brute.

It makes me so happy when i see people like you who do care and adore thier pets. It makes me believe the world is not completely cruel after all.

One thing I hate, is cruelty to animals. I swear that if I ever see anyone hurting Winston, any other cat or any animal in general, I might be caring enough to pay them a visit in hospital, ironic since I would be the one who would put them in there.. I'm not a violent person normally, but I do love cats a LOT. Most people find it hard that I'd ever harm anyone or anything, given my overly gentle nature..

But it's so good to hear your cat is alright now..

You are so lucky . They really are a bundle of joy to be had! Keep them away from the sun during summer tho, unless they have sunscreen on their ears. They tend to be burnt easily, and can get cancer on them, tho it's easily removed by cutting the ear off (check the other photos of Frosty in my gallery and you'll see what I mean)

thanks for the comment!

And indoor kitties are much more fun coz they don't wander as much

That's kinda spooky, coz my dad found Frosty at work. Well actually she hitched a ride under his work car, and travelled about 11+ kilometers under the car. When she came out, she was perfectly fine, except for an oil mark on her back. The neighbours washed her down, and she was good as new

I'm so sorry. I'm not much of a dog person, but I know what it's like to loose a very loved one. My friend Spencer has a dog who we all call Lallie (Her real name is Kim). She is my attention whore. Every time I go to his house, Lallie always has to grab her new toy to show me, or if she hasn't got one, she'll roll onto her back and wait for a scratch on the belly. [link] is her. That's prolly the only dog I luff, except for Michael's dog, but he's a big dog (mortally afraid of cats after my neighbours cat beat him up, and of stairs. He can't walk up or down stairs at home. Hillarious stuff )

Lolz. Shes a cute puppy. I know alot of non-dog people but all animals are good <3 we even have a bird. We use to have a dog that we got to look after our cat. Lol. The dog loved that cat but the cat hated the dog. But you get that. Lallie sounds really cute. <3 I have a dolmation thats like that. She'll sit next to a new person untill they give her a pat its funny because they'll be saying "Go away jane" and she'll stay there. x3

I used to have a budgie. We called it Fonzie and I swear it was the stupidest (in the nicest way XD) and loudest bird ever. It'd bash it's head against the cage, screech and screech, and just be a menace. It died like the day after my birthday when we went to Lakes Entrance for the day lol. Frosty used to sneak out of my room at night and harass the bird something shocking. The strange thing was, one day we found an egg in it's cage. It was a female living on it's own, so we were dumfounded to say the least lol

Lallie is priceless. You say to her "Lallie, did you want to have a greenie?" (A greenie is some kind of dental chewable biscuit) and she'll tilt her head to the side, then you say "Did you want to go outside for a walkies?" and the head will tilt to the other side. THEN you have her full attention. You say to her "Lallie, are you my ho-bag?" or "Are you a tip-slut?" and she'll give you the most adorable look imaginable. Gawd that dog is priceless ^_^

Rolf. Oh yes smart dogs are. She sounds so cute<3. And halraus. But your bird sound excrushatingly dumb... We have a indin ring neck (green birdy) and it likes to atack milkshakes, but she pops him back after he tries to bite her nose! She gose and sleeps on his cage and when he get back in it nips at her feet. <3

Grayda In reply to Nakoo-The-Tauren [2006-01-11 12:52:57 +0000 UTC]

awwr that's adorable. My bird would just flap around heaps waking everyone in the house up. Then we'd put Frosty in my brother's room, or sometimes in my folk's room. She could never sit still, always washing, or doing this or that. It was funny until you tried to sleep

My friend Michael has 2 rats, a budgie and a dog. And he messes with them so badly. He'll put his hand in the bird's cage and chase it around, pinning it to the floor with one finger, then he'll grab it and stick it into the birdseed holder in the cage, or flick water on it, or wait till it's on it's perch, then he'll push it until it falls off. But the bird LOVES it. It'll keep coming back for more. And with his 2 rats, he'll sneak up, and when they aren't expecting it, will clap, making them jump and get a fright, or he'll tease them with food and make them squeak. And finally his dog. He gets poor ol' Rip so worked up, he'll start running around and yelling like there is someone coming down the track. Rip will bark and run off, expecting Michael to follow. Then Michael will stop and wait for Rip. Once he realises he's been tricked, Michael will point and laugh and run away.

Sure all his animals may be mentally scarred for life, but they all love it. It's odd lol

I know exactly what you mean. If someone let Frosty into my room at like 2am, she'd jump on my bed, and sit on my chest, meowing, walking on the spot (marking time) and sniffing at my face until I woke up. Once she saw I was awake, and got a pat, she'd turn around, sit in the middle of my bed, and sleep. God I miss her heaps..

My friend David has a cat at his mum's house, and I was there for a party one night. We were sitting in the 'sun room' making Stop motion Lego movies on a video camera, and I was making squeaking noises to the cat. It honestly thought that there was a mouse in the house, and spent the rest of the night stalking around the house trying to find it. I think the cat is paranoid of mice now thanks to me
