I really like the way the graphical symbols are arranged here--the design reads very well, and the simple style is fun to look at.

Wow, this is better than I imagined. I love the way the you dissolved the surface of the water into the deeper section. And the style is one I haven't seen from you yet. I myself was contemplating how to give my piece a focal or story rather than just a bunch of fish, and you nailed it with the adorable zoras (I'm having mine focus on the treasure excavating. FUN!)
I SALUTE YOU, MASTER ILLUSTRATOR!

Well thank you and thank you again. I really had a fun time with this one. When it comes to illustrating i am really inspired by classic kids book illustrations. I think i am also going to do it in the other style with the simple shapes and geometrical figures. I can't wait to see your interpretation of it!!!

You're so welcome. Ahh, I can see the children's book inspiration, in the expressions more than anything else. OOh it's so cute. The simple shapes style would be interesting too. Man, I hope I can get it soon, but the quarter ends on Friday and, on top of exams, I have 3 pieces due in art.

Well you've already tackled ocean, how about the sky? It could be fun to decide how you would depict the clouds- puffy or spirally or wispy. Maybe a night sky, looking through a telescope and imagining what's out there or how the stars were made from a kinda children's story perspective. Maybe each star is a little person on a tiny moon with a flashlight, or each star is made by a giant Star-craft that lives on the moon (the moon waning is him whittling more of the moon away to create more stars. And when the new moon stikes..uhh...I dunno XD )
Hopefully that sparks a little something, even if that something is completly unrelated to what I wrote c:
