This perfectly describes how I feel around most people, totally disconnected from their happy yet limited reality. That's why I'm glad we get to see the world from the earth pony's point of view, the vast sky and universe opening up all around us, no matter how much we want to enjoy the soft grass and warm breeze on this beautiful day, just like any pony else.
…or maybe I'm just reading way too much into it.
Regardless, both scenes are gorgeous (and from both angles), and they blend together perfectly as part of one complete world. Beautiful job on all three ponies (one of each type, I see), all pretty and lovely as ever, and the two "below" seem very sweet and kind as they chatter away; there's no hint that they want to exclude the lonely mare, but it's just something we introverts do to ourselves sometimes. The space pony's sadness shows beautifully too, and it's easy to wish we could just hug her until her world is turned right again. Thanks for sharing this moving scene.

Lol... I bought this YCH in commishes.com a couple of months ago, artist ignored me straight after I paid for it, after over a month with zero response back I filled a complain on PayPal and luckily enough got my money back.
Now I come across this, the actual work finished heh how "wonderful" to find this deviantart page, care to explain what was it all about?

this YCH I sold in VK (social network), and someone stole it and put it on ych.commishes. I registered on the ych.commishes relatively recently, so I did not know about it

Remember when this ych was on commishes? we even chat on the comment section there, I got it and well it was a scammer! damn! made me so upset I really liked this concept... quite frankly I quit ych's after it, safer keep just straight commissioning here in DA.

The way I interpret it is someone very lost in his own thoughts. He doesn’t observe the world around him, and reality is far away. He’s sitting on a swing next to his friends, who are also unaware of his departure from reality, but his mind so far away they may as well be in an world turned upside down.
