Also Don and Red are meant to be two separate entities that live in the same body, their headspace bodies are seen above but the host body is a blend of the two, not as deathly thin as Don but not as ripped as Red

The host body is seen more as Don unless Red gets ballsy and drops his name instead

Meaning: "Great chief" -> "Gleam" | Name he made on the spot to differentiate himself from Don

Don's Personality: Don is a complete recluse, trying to avoid any unnecessary interactions. He has a history of disordered eating, self-harm, and attempting suicide. He only seeks out men to sleep with if Red builds up his confidence, but these occurrences are few and far between. Don suffers from untreated schizophrenia, sometimes being unable to cope due to his hallucinations and delusions. He has been reliant on Red all his life.
Red's Personality: Red is aggressive and lusts for life. He drinks heavily, occasionally abuses drugs, and has an impossibly high sex drive. He runs wild, but cares for Don and keeps his body fed and bathed.

Bio: Don was born to a rising actress mother and successful agent father. Don was raised lovingly by the two, but was often left in the care of his uncle. His uncle quickly showed his abusive colors, and the abuse was so frequent and repetitive that Don's personality fragmented, and he split almost perfectly in half. The other personality that broke off from him was Red, a slightly older, more violent personality. He couldn't bear to see Don being hurt, and he went against Don's wishes to kill his uncle. He covered his tracks and made it appear a suicide, and assured Don he was safe. Don believed him, trusting Red to protect him. Red collected the trauma memories for the time being to ensure Don's childhood went on more smoothly. Don became a bright child, making friends and making his family proud. Don attempted to tell his mother about Red, but Red stopped him, as he wouldn't be taken seriously. Red remained a secret, but a turning point came when Don's father died in a sudden car accident. Don was comforted by the presence of Red and his mother, but not for much longer, as Don's mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer when he was 12. Although she tried to remain positive, the disease would claim her when Don was 15. Despite Don being an anxious wreck, Red encouraged him to work out a deal with the principal, allowing Don to graduate on time while still living on his own. Don graduated smoothly, but his schizophrenia began to manifest. He was able to cope with it at first, as he couldn't differentiate his auditory hallucinations from Red's voice he'd been hearing for years. Red was a bit worried when Don embraced his hallucinated form, but didn't want to shatter Don's worldview. Red was a prime source of comfort for Don, as he did everything for him, including sleeping with him in the headspace and dreams. Don allowed Red to take over to allow him to have breaks, though Red often took these breaks to drink, smoke, or hire prostitutes. Red would encourage Don to get a relationship, but was often disappointed in the boys that took him home. Red easily disposed of those he didn't approve of, even though Don is scared further any time Red gets rid of someone. During one of Red's alcohol fueled episodes, he hired a prostitute by the name of Aiden. He attempted to slaughter Aiden after deeming him a threat, but Don stopped him, stating that Aiden was just like him. Despite Red's qualms, Don spouted apologies and begged to keep him alive. Red caved and let Don take him home. Red was suspicious of Aiden, but became less wary when he learned Aiden has Dependent Personality Disorder (DPD). Although Red manipulated him at first, Don's scolding forced Red to reform for Aiden, and Aiden slowly grew on him. The trio live in Don's cabin in the woods, away from any intrusive people.
