Your grasp on skin tones is realistic, but still very painterly. The red running throughout the piece creates unity but is kept from overpowering the painting since it appears the underpainting was a cool color. In addition to the cool underpainting, the cool from the window is reflected on the predominant figures face. Ultimately, this is an excellent piece.
