Because melta-pixies need to protect their noggins when rekking m8s. And no, they don't actually follow Khorne. But they do RIP AND TEAR.

Being magical AND artificial doll-like beings their bodies sort of "fuse" with their armor, for instance manifesting the tiny metal plate to protect the nose and turning their eyes into the nifty "car headlight" goggles you see here. Said goggles act as helmet-mounted display as well as night-vision, infrared and X-ray vision, with some IFF capability too.

I want to eventually draw multiple armor permutations for Safhirim, Kyrdan, Zechite and USG soldiers. Just to play make-believe I actually have a big-budget game where players can make a custom player character of one of the four races/factions. Sorta like customizing Spartan armor in the recent Halo games.
