Cadrix is the OS of choice for fighting the Coalition in the 22nd century. Seriously all of NIMH's military workstations run it, it is much more memory and CPU efficient than Digital Worlds bloatware. And it can certainly run Crysis at max settings, even with RTX on.

Yes it was created by Dash Cadren back in the 90s, before his statis from 1999 to 2186. Like everything else the guy created in his childhood, it was discovered by Adept scientists and turned into advanced technology over the next two centuries, to eventually give NIMH and the rest of the combined Adept/Safhira resistance a fair chance against the Nexus and its unruly but endless hoards of Zechites, angry mobs, and fully-automated infantry bots created by the Digital Worlds megacorp.

If anything just a bit of an experiment to see what a "modern" OS would look like if it still used the same interface and design features as machines in the mid-1990s. Yes that background is SETUP.BMP from Windows 95. But the 1440 x 1080 resolution was chosen since it's the closest 4:3 analog to my current 1080p display. Mostly frankened with little bits from OS/2, Irix and Windows 3.1 to 98.

Yes, if there is one thing Dash has in common with the girl from Jurassic Park, it's that he knows his Unix systems. Yes, Silicon Dreams is a reference to Silicon Graphics.
