Description Thanks to some mods from Nexus Mod Manager we now have access to Fallout 76's Excavator Power Armor a modified T-45 power armor produced by Garrahan Mining Company in Appalachia, and the Ultracite Power Armor another power armor prototyped by Garrahan Mining Company utilizing the rare radioactive Ultracite material.     The mods that add these provides quests to find them and even build them in the case of Ultracite Power Armor.      Given that Fallout 4 takes place nearly two centuries after Fallout 76 i have no issues with this.

I've explained in videos before why not only Fallout Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel should still be considered canon, but that the existence through creation club or atomic shop items like the Liberty Prime Power Armor are actually lore friendly.    These armors appearing in Fallout 4 even by a mod are actually lore friendly thanks to the Brotherhood of Steel under the command of First High Elder Roger Maxson sending a recovery contingent to Appalachia (in the up-coming content that is coming to Fallout 76 later this year) to find out what happened to Taggerdy's Thunder and if Appalachia could be salvaged.   The glowing sea being where ultracite appears in Fallout 4 thanks to this mod is also lore friendly thanks to the high amount of operations taking place in the Commonwealth thanks to the proximity of Mass Fusion HQ.

Since in Fallout 3 we know Lyon's Pryde left the West Coast brotherhood to perform recon in the Capitol where they set up shop as an "exiled" division of the brotherhood split into Lyon's Pryde and the Outcasts, and in Fallout 4 Arthur Maxson the last surviving member of the Maxson lineage takes the Brotherhood from the Capitol to the Commonwealth the possibility of these experimental prototype armors being present makes sense as they would have had the research notes on them and thanks to the Glowing Sea would have the research to construct them in greater numbers than in 76.
