Prompts withheld this time. Sorry. Mostly because ((stencil graffiti)) was not giving me stencil graffiti.

I am still rather filled with wroth hours after dealing with the person I encountered this afternoon. There was a notice earlier from the Guild about the increase in unlawful transformations in the past few months. Many had been unsolved cases, with the recovered victims unable to identify the culprit. Now I have some idea of what is going on.
Now, as I may or may not have said before, I am a wizard specializing in transformations. This does not preclude me from the usual fantastic magics seen in today's media. I am a fair hand with an explosive fireball. Protective magic is also a field I know and practice rigorously. The very same protections that kept me from being put on display as wall art. The girl had come up behind me, intending for me to be her newest display, and her spell rebounded from me and onto her. The sound of her impacting a brick wall with a splatter of paint startled me.
Admittedly, I was shocked at first. Then after realizing what had happened, I was angry. Standing there with a fireball hovering over my palm, I glared at the girl-turned-graffiti. Perhaps regretfully, after a minute or so, I extinguished the fireball. Still maintaining my glare, I pulled out my flip phone and called up the Guild's enforcers. A team of them led by Senior Journeymage Callum Marblemaw arrived, got my statement, then began to magically interrogate the girl. It turns out she is the many times great granddaughter of a witch who passed decades ago and had left spellbooks in storage. The girl found the books, realized they were real, and began casting indiscriminately. Finally, she revealed she has only been the source of some new graffiti and a few random curses out of the hundreds of new incidents being investigated.
When informed about Guild laws involving spell casters, she was not in the least remorseful. Her magical ability was sealed up for a two week period so arrangements could be made to inform her parents of the existence of magic and how to access the Guild for any assistance they might need. Incidentally, sealing her magic involved leaving her trapped as wall graffiti for those two weeks.
This incident has given insight to the increase of magical crimes being committed, crimes that could not be traced to known mages. It seems there is a new crop of witches, wizards, sorcerers and others that have found spellbooks, but know nothing of the Guild.
There are not enough headache pills in my cabinet for this.
