I imagine this is the result of you taking your "Tiles" fractal and wrapping it about a point, then taking several cans of paint and repainting it in those lovely shades of yellow and green. You then take a bright lamp and place it behind the point to provide the fancy illumination. It is nice. I like it.

Wouldn't it be so exciting if that was how I actually did it? Alas, no. This fractal's transform structure bears absolutely no resemblance to the Tiles fractal.

However, you give me an interesting idea. Perhaps I could literally do what you suggested with the Tiles fractal... A polar-conversion final transform... Hmm. We'll see.
