Wow, now this is really neat! I don't think you have ever done a 3D tile fractal before. I like it a lot.

Yup, it's a first for me. What's really neat is that I can replace the "tiles" with any 2D pattern I like, now that I've got the perspective right.

I spent about five minutes making the tiles, and about fifty working on the color, lighting, and perspective. It seems to have paid off!
