Description So there's a good YouTube video I was watching earlier about a form of art practice known as Iterative drawing. The video is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0ufz7…

It's a bit of a longer video, but it's well worth the watch. He talks about common pitfalls, many of which I do: say I want to practice drawing a face, yet I'll always draw a full body; in that form of practice, I'm focusing on too many things at once. This helped me to narrow down and focus on one thing at a time (e.g., eyes, face structure, hands, etc.).

This is a showcase of some of my practice. I really wanted to improve the way I draw and shape eyes, and this is my first practice involving 20 different types of eyes.

I really enjoyed it! I like the different shapes I experimented with. Some eyes came out larger, then I'd narrow the pupil, then widen it. Then I'd change the angle of the eye and draw the pupil larger, etc. And in the end, I really found myself enjoying how my more rounded eyes came out (build up from a basic circle, keeping everything in a well-rounded proportion).

It is a great video! Definitely helped me avoid some common mistakes I was making.

I feel like I've really improved since practicing like that!
