Description Well, I tried to print it, but one page won't fit into a real vhs case, so I probably won't be selling this, but I'll put a watermark on it anyways because why the hell not? Anyways, this is a fake VHS cover for the Disney Film Zootopia.

Can't say I was sad to see these things go! Watch a movie about 30 times and boomย your reel's junk. Glad to have been born in the digital age!

Oh the days of electromagnetic ferro-tape... how I somewhat miss you. I admit there were advantages of a VCR over DVD player. The VCR could act as a TV tuner, you could turn it off in the middle of a movie and pick up where you left off. Some DVRs now require an Internet connection. And the media war between VHS and BetaMax was pretty well defined. Sure there's no special features or nothing, but while I enjoy those, I'm happy just watch the movie whenever I want.

Reminds me of how my mom kept all the VHS Casettes when she grew up in the mid 1950-70s as it reminds me of Disney's Robin Hood (1973) that was essentially her version of Zootopia during her teenage years.

That's what I hear. I also hear Nick's look, and Zootopia in general were inspired by Robin Hood. I'll have to watch that sometime.

Indeed, kinda like a tribute in a sense, not so much a rip off in anyway.

it was supposed to be a retro type project. Some people really liked how the old white VHS cases looked.

I feel like once Zootopia comes out, I should have a dvd copy and copy it to a vhs and use this box cover.

a little work on Fireworks and some images from the film

JeanOtaku91XL In reply to GreedLin [2016-04-27 22:17:38 +0000 UTC]

Still that's amazing how people do this to remind our nostalgia of VHS boxes.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

GreedLin In reply to JeanOtaku91XL [2016-04-27 22:26:47 +0000 UTC]

I was going to do all the films that were not released and print them out and maybe sell them, but with my printer not being the proper size or what ever, I can't print them properly to have them be 'good quality' so I won't be doing the other films. It's a lot of work for no reward, not worth it. I can do other things.
