Huh… I have no idea what to call this.Let me tell you a story:
It all began when ~paw07 added a new story to her repertoire. So like a good, devoted reader I went to check it out and concluded that ‘hey! I so can make a green bot!’
Turns out I couldn’t.
I mean, I could make a green bot, just not the one I was planning to do and that also fitted the story... you wonder how can I make my mind into doing something and end up with something different? I just do. Is that understandable? Probably not… but my brain is in a freaky mood right now… it’s all that Michael Jackson Music, no matter what channel or station you turn to, there’s always something of him, and that also makes me sad cause I was a fan…
Anyway! *back to happy mood!* What was I talking about? oh yeah! Sorry Paw07, no fanart this time… -_-; also, sorry, dear watchers, no funny story to read here.

You can make your own story! (Read “help me out, I made a character and have no idea what to call him/she/it” …character design was never my forte) ;D so who’s this? A Decepticon, an Autobot? Neutral? Femme? Mech?
BTW, if anyone wonders why the hands look strange, one of them is showing the back while the other is showing the front, the other two are raised as if they were holding sth... hey! I had fours hands to draw! it was the perfect opportunity to do a quick study!

First off let me just say I adore your artwork and your Wheeljack, because alien origami + motorbike alt + postit note love = WIN!
If it's not too impertinent I'd like to offer an character idea for this frame.
Designation: Mantisor/Skitter
Frame-style: Mech - Insecticon
Alternate Mode: Praying Mantis
Allegiance: Decepticon-allied bounty hunter.
Weapons: Foreleg claws, localised sonic disruptor.
Special attack: Piercing strike from front foreclaws, fast and unique melee fighting style.
Other abilities: Ambush tactics, short-range flight capabilities from concealed wings and enhanced hearing.
About: A relic of the Beast Wars and malignant to the core, this 'con specialises in stealth/assassination. On the surface he is a fairly vain, arrogant associate of Megatron's outer ranks, rarely taking orders from anyone bar himself and Shockwave for the occasional commission. Vain because don't you know blue optics go far better with green than red?
Now, to explain the praying mantis transforming as I visualised it (I can't draw very well and I didn't want to butcher your shinyness, let me draw you a word-picture?).
Legs swivel outwards 180 degrees to face backwards.
Head flips down to other end of spine and rotates 180 degrees after it does.
The four arms touch down to be legs.
The previously shins, ankles and feet straighten and click together for a solid edged look to make the foreclaws.
The backplates come together after being separated when the head went through.
The silver crest on his head flattens more towards the skull, the silver and green cheek-guards click together and out for a more pincer-like look.
Now for comparative orientation, in case of confusion because when I re-read this I got a bit lost ^_^;;
Please note this is not as flattering.
His head is now on his aft, the three green bits hanging there now brace his neck. Then turn him upside down because his head is now on top of a curving spine leading to his back.
His legs and feet are reversed and now his arms and claws, his four arms and hands now serve as four legs and feet.
He has a bum like an ant and his face is more compacted with a pincer like jaw.

specially herign this is a mech from the Beast Wars era... never go much there myself... but I like it!
I think I got the transformation, but in case I didn't, the good thing of them is that you can pretty much draw A, then drew a mantis as C... and just pretty much make a half-assed thing as B!
