Description
So this is Carantir's (and Haleth's!) image for feanoreanweek The theme: appearance.
In my mind, Caranthir always wears dark clothes, but I also have this headcanon that Haleth gave him a cute green scarf!
And sure, maybe that scarf doesn't match anything Caranthir wears, and maybe the materials are much simpler than the silks and fine embrodiery Caranthir uses, but I like to think this simple scarf with yellow horses quickly becomes Caranthir's favourite item!
And you'll take this ship from my cold dead hands.

I read this story at ao3, a modern setting, it's Aegnor/Andreth centered, but the thing is that Caranthir and Aegnor were sent back to Middle Earth somewhere in the 4th age and they survive til this age and they find both Andreth and Haleth reincarnated.Β
My point is that I too ship them now and I blame your work for it.Β

I think mostly I just draw pieces of armor that looked functional, then color the metal in reds and blacks/really-dark-reds and then add another layer for a light blue for the light!

for some reason, I cannot imagine Haleth as having darker skin. But, its interesting, the idea of Caranthir being enamored with herΒ Β Β

it's one of my fav pairings too! and I love drawing Haleth! though I think I've changed her desing more than any other carΓ‘cter across the years while caranthir is pretty much the same!
