Gawd, it's really been long since I've done anything worth mentioning on here :S
Mainly because other affairs have been consuming waaaaay more time than they ought to, bloody firecrackers u.u

This painting took me actually quite a while compared to my other ones. I drew the sketch at school (like 99% of my other sketches), then just thought about the idea for some days and added onto the sketch from time to time.
Then I finally traced it onto some watercolour paper and started painting! which took me some days with breaks, lots of experimenting with rice and salt as well as you might notice ^^
I also used some eyeshadow, hence the glittering effect in the background. (Don't ask me why I did it, I just though it would be cool The glitter got into my water and then infected the other colours so the whole painting is pretty FABULOUS)

The colours are way different in reality though, it hasn't got as much yellow as it shows and the purple is supposed to be way more subtle with more brown in it. BUT fuck that, I used a camera P:
