Description
Coby is an explorer mothby (mothman furby), he's a rumbunctious fella that constantly gets himself into trouble; often putting the cryptid community at risk of being discovered by humans. He's shorter than the average mothby but still has sizable wings, meaning he can fly for quite the long distances without too much strain.

HI EVERYBODY HOW IS IT GOING. I've been away from drawing for two weeks by now; I've done nothing but playing Monster Hunter Rise all day every day, today I finally get a burst of inspiration to draw something and it's a friggin' furby. He's based on a plushie of mine, probably and old Happy Meal toy from McDonald, the lantern and map are based on trash I had put in his small backpack as a child (they've since been thrown away, but the character still has them); I don't remember what child me named him, but Coby sounded like an appropriate name, came up with it on a whim in the shower, together with his backstory (as one does).

At first I was going to make him into a regular furby, maybe an anthro, but I didn't wanna bother too much with adoing that (it was a backburner "maybe one day" kinda project) but Cosmindart has been posting/making mothman furbies on twitter and it sparked that flame of need to draw I was missing for a while.

In other news I've been so addicted to MHR that I can't even stop playing it long enough to draw stuff from the game, which I desperatly want to do. Like, I want to draw the monsters, I want to draw my hunter, I want to draw my palamute, but I'm just too stuck on the game itself. Oh well.
