Where do I even begin with this.
I started with Rouge and the intention of doing a compilation of simple doodles, but you know I am utterly incapable of keeping things "simple". I don't know what a sketch is shaddup.

anyhow, more characters from the Sonic universe getting the redesign treatment to be adapted into my little fanverse that I am incompetent to make because my knowledge of the Sonic lore is limited to Colors, Forces and the CGI movie.
Speaking of the movie, I fell in love with Jim Carrey's performance and had to incorporate the movie's design in some way, this redesign is me trying to keep Eggman looking like himself while doing that. I also took into account various versions of him from comics and cartoons tho, I really like the end result.

Same with Rouge, I never liked her that much and ended up mixing her classic design with Sonic Heros', plus my own spin (ie: the white of the fur covers more than just her head); still kept the boob window tho, those are superior no matter the gender of the character. The end result I'm quite proud of, I never tought I'd get myself to actually like this character.

Merna is an hilarious side character from an old cartoon and I just wanted to draw her because she's just a Sonic recolor with lipstick and a fish tail, idk why I like her so much but this is my version of her.

Vector is an old favorite of mine, I remember I'd play Mario & Sonic at the olimpics 2012 he, Blaze and Silver would always be my top picks (Shadow following close behind). Once again I didn't change much, I just added some details and color-shifts from his retrò design, I love him. His lineart was drawn on paper, as the premise of this whole char collection was to compile a bunch of doodles made between breaks or whatever, but he was the only one I ended up drawing traditionally.

Espio and Vector kinda go together so after I did the green boi, I had to include him as well; I don't have much to say on his redesign, the only change I made aside from drawing him in my style was making the gloves purple.

I'm really starting to like drawing characters in this style, especially the hands of all things, I may keep it for other stuff as well. One thing I changed was making the feet/shoes stupid tiny, I don't know why I did it in the previous redesigns (probably to avoid putting too many details on the shoes), but I find easier to just draw them proportionate, so consider the first batches as chibi, I'm not gonna re-draw them again lmao.
