Hello and hola, teenies!
I'm not in the best of moods today,
so I'll keep this short and sweet. These
are just some Count Mikey practice drawings
I did in college about a month and a half ago.
For some reason, I forgot all about them and
stashed them in my computer desk will all the
other works in progress (which believe me, it's
a GINORMOUS stack of paper lol). Anyhoo,
the two Mikey's in the middle are some
practice with what I can do w/ extreme
expression. I'm none too pleased w/ both,
to be honest. You tell me which is better;
the Mikey bat on the left or the one on
the right? After you decide, enjoy and
g'night. I've got work tomorrow and
I've got to put the finishing touches
on something new. See ya soon!

They both seem to hold just slightly different emotions. The one on the left is all "I'll KILL you, you bastard!"
While the one on the right is more "I'm so confused to how this is possible it PISSES ME OFF!"

That's what I mean! lol
I didn't know which emotion/expression I preferred there.
Just the slightest adjustment to a line can make you end up
with a completely different emotion on the character's face.

From one perfectionist from another, I know exactly what you mean. I once got some advice from one of my friends (he's an animator for Disney) that sometimes you just gotta let things work themselves out. It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's better then having the emotion looked forced.

God, I love your expressions! My drawings have the expression range of an infant...
So my first instant thoughts... Probably totally not what you're going for... but my brain works in weird ways.
Far left Mikey: 'Tre, if you don't get out of my face I'm going to rip those stupid eyeballs off your head.'
Left Middle Mikey: AH-CHOOOOO!
Right Middle Mikey: Either has to pee or is holding in a narly fart. I'm leaning toward narly fart.
Far right Mikey: I'd like to imagine that his special pretty girly is taunting him, since he's all perky and bemused. 'Right here? Now? Really?'
