Description My first Deviation! wohoo. The first in a series of graphics which will act as section dividers for my portfolio... 'print', 'web', 'misc' etc etc. Hopefully if things go as planned i'll be posting some graphics of varying styles!

Hey, thanks for the compliments. I used to post on here ages ago when DV first started, back then when you submitted a wallpaper you had the option to upload loads of different resolutions in one go. I cant see a way to do that now, do you know if there's a way to do that without having to submit each res' one at a time?

Looks neat, found this at the print shop and thought id view it. I like the vector work, nice and clean. I think the smudge effect doesnt work too well, id prefer it without and keep the sharpness there. Not sure about the colour contrast, but personal colour preference.
I think overall its a great piece, really nice vector work.

Thankyou. I know what you mean with the smudges, they ended up looking to contrived, but it looks quite bland with out & plus I thought it'd be cool to throw in a different style with the vectors. Besides after spending an hour using watercolour paints on the inside of my bathtub & taking pics...I was pretty adamant on using those smears!
Well done on 'circular' by the way, very nice use of colours and subtle lighting. Did you do the whole thing in a 3d app' or is it a combination of render & vector? I really want to get into the whole 3D app' game to see if I can create some interesting vector looking abstracts...... could you reccommend the way to go? (i'm on a mac by the way...hsssssss

Thanks for the constructive crit' by the way.

nice, you've put a lot of detail into that. good work my friend! would be nice if it was more desktop friendly though... i.e. 1280x1024 oe 1024x768...have you seen the hp printer adverts? this reminded me of that... ur portfolio's going to look good!
