I couldn’t agree more. He’s still clearly an incredibly twisted man. Like, “Hey, wait. Killing five people and indirectly causing the deaths of dozens was kind of wrong of me. Maybe instead of sealing the place up to let my victims duke it out with each other and eldritch abominations, I should have actually faced the consequences of my actions,” is not a realization that should take years, and when it happens, your reaction should not be to call up an old man you used to be friends with to trap him in a time loop in hopes that he can somehow fix your mess. That’s not how normal minds work.
If I were Henry, I’d have dressed him down then and there, shoved his mistakes in his face until he cried, demanded that he never contact me again, and left. The only reason I’m leaving out physical violence is because it’s wrong to attack someone so physically frail. Wouldn’t blame Henry if he disagreed, though!

Joey Drew really should have listened to Henry. But instead he chose to push away from his friend's advise. It's his own fault for not listening to Henry, and as a result... "Shit hit the fan."

Joey: It wasn’t worth it. But, I do have Henry’s trust. If I didn’t, he wouldn’t have gone into the studio like I asked. In a few days our time, a few years his, he’ll have set everything right. Then they’ll forgive me, because I’ve saved them. Good thing I’m a man of ideas, because if I hadn’t come up with this plan-well, I might have trouble sleeping at night.
