Wow! Finally!

I've been working on this for far too long. To give you some perspective, I was hoping to be finished by the 28th of February. Mmhmm.

Well, anyway, curvy dragons. Yes. I'm very pleased to have finally gotten the hang of feminine forms (after trying and failing to sketch Applejack for Extra Pony, I tried again more recently and it was dead easy,) and so what better way to celebrate than CURVY DRAGONS! Although technically I was doing them already - when I sketched them, I still wasn't quite confident.

I also had a go at bones and muscles under skin. Never in my life have I hated abs more. This is also the first time I've had a crack at a full female figure; the closest I've come before is in Extra Pony, but they all had/will have funny poses, clothes and/or censoring. Furthermore, this is my first full-on art piece with lighting effects, a background and everything, which was all created inside a computer. No pencils here. And as if that wasn't enough, this is also my first abstract background!

The characters here are Sann-driya and Ayira-ianah, whom I have drawn before in Amare la Luna and Yira with Socks , respectively. Their appearances are a little different; Amare la Luna was made back when I was still very new to Anime Studio (her style has evolved quite a bit), and Yira with Socks was just a rough drawing. As for the dragonesses themselves, the title of this piece is a little misleading, since they are both well over six feet tall - 6' 7" and 6' 3", respectively. You can see them on a chart here , along with the heights of three other dragons. I also put myself and Brownie on there (if you don't know who that is, all will be revealed.)

If you ask me, the future looks bright! And draconic. And curvy.
