Thanks! It's actually pretty easy to do. Cover the paper with a layer of water, then one of ink. Then, you let drops of water fall randomly over the ink while it's still wet. I just had to work a bit to make them look like clouds (sort of)

Nah, apparently it was an interesting one, just kind of sad because the bears were later killed. Thank you!

They were killed by some sort of sorcerer with magical lightning, as far as I remember.

Once I had a dream where I killed Voldemort by punching him in the face. What was weird about it was that, in the dream, he was standing next to my bed in my room in the morning. When I punched him, he dissolved into thin air, and I woke up with my fist extended out and looking at exactly what I saw in my dream: my room. From the exact same angle, too. And exact same lighting. It was as though it really happened...it was so weird.

I rarely, if ever, illustrate my own dreams, too. It's really difficult for some reason. This was someone else's

Wow, I've never drawn anything from a dream that bizarre! Is there a story to the bears? Everything seems so symbolic and mysterious in the painting, I can only begin to imagine what each element might represent.

As far as I remember, they were brought into this stone yard to be killed by some sort of magic lightning. It wasn't my dream, but it did feel very inspiring to me as well.
In my interpretation, the bears have human-like intelligence. They have been wrongly accused of something. The people who want to kill them are not evil, it's just the way things are. The bears know they can't change their fate, but state their innocence one last time, while accepting their own deaths.

Thanks for replying. ^^
Oh, didn't know it wasn't your dream. XD Was it from a friend, or mythology? And that honestly makes the most sense of the chains and lightning; a really sad story of false justice, but they carry on anyway.

You're welcome. ^^ I use a lot of my favorites as wallpapers, so I spend a lot of time looking at the art than just on dA or in slide shows. Really makes me think about the piece itself as I slowly observe all of its little details over time.

Ah yes! When I saw that Windows 7 had this nifty feature that changes the wallpaper every few minutes if you give it an image folder to select from, I pretty much barfed rainbows. I want to save all my dA favourites and make my wallpaper cycle through them. One time, when I have a free Sunday...
Thanks again and keep being awesome!
