Description
I wanted to upload a picture of her without her winter wear. On ebay, you will be able to see pictures with her winter wear. I will probably not make a new pony for a while as I have alot of minky to use up. I also want to work on a new head pattern. I have not been consistent with the head, and the curve of the nose, so I will be working on that, plus I want to be able to machine embroider the mouth rather than hand embroider. Wish me luckEbay link: [link]
I just changed to a 5 day auction.

does the machine embroidered mouth, and I thought about doing it, but it just doesnβt feel right to me. My pattern is also undergoing a major overhaul. Iβm still trying to get the flank right.
I think Iβm happy with my heads though apart from maybe changing the nose some more also. Iβve also thought about trying the gusset again, but Iβm not sure.
Good luck with your pattern! Looking forward to seeing more of your plushies!

Thank you Adam. I think my problem is that I am not very good at hand embroidery...although I do like the mouth being needle sculpted. Maybe I just neeed to practice my hand embroidery more. By the way, what is a gusset? Good luck with your pattern changes too.

Well, I wouldnβt consider myself good at it, but I do use regular thread instead of hand-embroidery thread. Not sure how much of a difference that makes.
I didnβt have a clue what a gusset was either until someone mentioned it so, I looked it up. "A triangular insert, as in the seam of a garment, for added strength or expansion." Another term someone used was a gore (sounded strange at first, but it also had a matching definition). I think Iβm only one that doesnβt use one for normal sized plushies, but it seems to work fine though.

Yeah I can see what you mean about wanting to fix the nose. I was thinking about doing a little redesigning for my own pattern, as well. But I digress, best of luck to you on redesigning the head, and in your future endeavors.

Oh thank you! I am not sure about opening for commissions before Christmas. I need to work on my pattern. I'm pretty happy with the body, but not so happy with the head. So hopefully I can get the head right before Christmas.
