- The user concentrates all its energy into a colossal drill and charges into the target. This move can't be used twice in a row.
- It is rumored that this version of Mechapod was modeled after an ancient Pokemon that once dwelled beneath the surface. More research is needed to confirm this.
- This Pokemon can pierce through even the toughest objects using its shell-like drill. Some say the drill can become about one hundred times Mechapod's size.
For TheAussieArtist's Crabot Contest over on IG, I present you to Mechapod - Piercer Model! It's based on hermit crabs and Gurren Lagann - with the shell of the crab acting as the drill, of course. Its color scheme may also allude to the Lure Ball, but that's just a coincidence. The shell drill is lowkey kinda stupid-looking, but I suppose there's a charm in it.
UPDATE: Mechapod's Mechapodite reacted to Green Thunder's Mega Bracelet!
