Third project for my FINE 228 class. We had our last day today and now I'm uploading all my projects.

We had to do a photomanipulation of ourselves. YES! What I had been looking forward to! Just portraits, but that was enough to be a real challenge. We would submit two portraits, one which had been altered using only photoshop and existing traits. The second allowed us to use traits from anyone else in the class. Personally, I loved Guan Yu (Guan Gong) from the stories of the reunification of China, and we had three very lovely Asian ladies in the class I wanted to impress. Therefore, I chose to change my ethnicity to Chinese for the second part, make myself an aged Chinese Warrior. The first project I did 'me as a punk'. Basically what I would look like if I indulged in all the things I wanted to, dying hair, stealing, fighting, dropping classes etc. Note that it's because I'm such a violent kid and people are scared of me that there are no pockmarks in the skin and so forth.

There were no Asian men in the course. They were all taking CS 134. Therefore, I had to adopt the eyes of the Asian women in the class and remove eye shadow, eye liner, etc. The colour was exceptionally dark and I did want my eyes to have slightly more so I actually used a new technique for changing eye colour; the dodge tool on the colour layer you want there to be more of (dodge the blue layer for blue eyes). I used scaled down head hair for most of the beard and fumanchu, my own beard and two other guy's beards. Even still, I didn't have enough so I ended up using alot of cloning for the beard. Called it Long Yadanth - my Chinese name

I brought up the saturation for and did a similar eye trick for the second one. Changed the hair colour with a combination of a high-saturation overlay blended in and the dodge tool on the blue layer
