For an entire year on DeviantArt and coming into 2024, I think it's best to provide a bit of venting about the word 'Meme' and the misrepresentation it has amongst this website. I've always enjoyed most memes and if there's any form of honesty that I want to present is that it's so frustrating and irksome at times whenever these stupid, lazy and repetitive 'fill-in-the-blank template' things get put in the same category as them. And the DAUser who makes these expects you to "get it".

And what other way to best satirize it and hammer in the point by adding in Tali'Zorah jumping off a cliff in Mass Effect 3 as a reaction to the player siding with the Geth. I also add in TF2 mercenaries laughing and please do tell me; do you find this funny?
For real for real it's not even art and doesn't have any effort put into it, like in any way. it adds nothing its not informative or transformative and thus doesn't have any real substance or entertainment value. It has as much effort as a two year old figuring out that if you place both negative sides of a magnet wouldn't stick together. And yet the most bewildering thing about this is that Sweet Jesus only knows; despite being a place of actual art; Fill-in "meme's" that only feature two to three photo's for some other reason get more likes when any actual work with any substance in it.
