Hello again people!Yep, this is my version of Maria Robotnik, the well known deceased friend of Shadow the hedgehog who died for him in the ark (and I actually pair them as a reincarnated Maria XD)
And since there are so much Maria the hedgehogs, why not making a different specie? I've only seen two versions of Maria that are different species so I really wanted to do one. I always liked the idea of a cute rabbit Maria, do why not?
Here she is, with a different design of dress -since I love lace- and some pretty boots c: I love that pink nose >3< and her tail is so fluffy! 8D

my version of Marie is a fox but I haven't uploaded it yet and yeah every reincarnated version of her is a hedgehog so she can just be paired with shadow which I think is pretty crazy seeing that she is what 12 years old well I think she was 12 when she died,but I don't mind of you do

People dislike pairing Shadow and Human Maria, but honestly, it's a video game. As long as they're not real, I don't care if Maria's a human to be with Shadow. x)

I agree with all of this.
So far I've seen Maria as a hedgehog (all the time), a lynx, a lamb (did not see that one coming, though it was very cute XD) and a bunny. And I have to say,

I totally agree! I just recently saw someone's sprite of Maria robotnik the Golden Retriever! And I thought wow, that shows off ANOTHER side of her, the side that remained loyal to her thoughts about shadow, and the willingness to sacrifice herself so shadow, (and in effect, the rest of the world), would live!
And I really can't stand it when people only make maria a hedgehog simply to pair shadow with her (as in MATE pair... ), and then say they can't stand ShadowXMaria(Human) pairings. Almost all of these sonic pairings people love JUST SO HAPPEN to be mixes of species! Knuxouge, Sonsal, Silvaze, tailsmo, tailseam, shadouge, and... *shudders* shadikal.... (okay, so she sacrificed herself sort of like maria did, but if people want a pairing like Shadow and maria, how about just pair shadow and maria? It confuzzles me!!! [rant for another day]) But besides that, how many FC's have you seen of their sons and daughters?!? (like hedgebat, echidna/bat etc.) A LOT!
I quite personally believe that the human pairing would end up being a lot more on the puppy love side, like blushing, kiss on the cheek sort of thing, they-both-love-each-other-but-they-don't-know-it, and snuggles. XD NOT ALL OUT, FLIRTATIOUS, (u know what-ing).
Maria isn't even the girl to do that anyway. Right now, she only has books to rely on for her escape to distant worlds, and they are most certainly censored by her grandfather.
And, depending on people's stories, Maria becoming a hedgehog of all animals might make sense. Some people like the cliche'd "we need shadow's dna to bring her back into physical form" and the "grandfather made me this new body" ect ect, makes sense, but still, its cliche.
WE ALL WANT SOMETHING NEW!
And that is why I was delighted at your drawing. People out there really do have imagination.

I actually only pair shadow with Maria (as obvious c: ) AND with Molly! 
And about the human/hedgehog thing, I don't like bestiality, but I see what you mean, if it would be something just like, puppy love or that kind of things then yeah, it would be okay I guess .3. also, people pair different species, but have to make Maria a hedgehog? :I I find it BORING, it's ime to change a bit, and have some fun~! There are other thousands of species that you could use to reincarnate Maria, like you said, Golden Retriever, loyal and caring animal that protraits one of the qualities of this character.
I actually don't see how you can portrait Maria as a hedgehog, because there's not really a relation between the specie and the character, they only do that to get her to mate with shadow and all -3- I wanted to go further and to get a new point of view for fans. I mean, I also like Shadaria, and I also mate MY VERSION with Shadow, and I have my stories for the future (if you have seen my gallery, you'll find one of my most famous pictures, about Tails and cream).
Also I think Shadikal and Knuxikal are too necrophylic XD

Me too! And no, the pairings I listed were examples, NOT a shadouge fan at all... I mean they are JUST FRIENDS! They've been through some tough times together, I can see why they have each other's back! But romance? -_- Yeah, I don't ship most either. It depends on the day usually, but never with shadmaria or shadolly!
Oh and for future reference, shadamy? Don't buy the Twilight series. Seriously. Just come here on deviantart and search that pairing. You get the collection for free.
Not a fan of beastiality either..... WHAT SO EVER!!!! That sonic and elise moment.... ewww.... Especially when she said sonic made her "Feel more like a girl." The awkward silence from Sonic (and the player) there was priceless!!!!
And lastly, by "make sense" I mean by making somewhat logical sense, as in less than 5 major plot holes in the background story
***the shad DNA thing I said b4 -- the author wanted to have maria with powers and as a hedgehog, thus having mixes of creativity and unimagination at the same time. Oh and get this? He said that every decade Maria died added a year to her reincarnated age, thus making her 17. OI!
***Another classic is the "grandfather made me a new body" plot -- Gerald wouldn't dare mess with his grandchild's life like that! Then people come in with the whole "soul transfer" thing, whether it be a machine to a gemstone, that moves her life and memories to a new body. I wonder what it is??? You guessed it: Mobian hedgehog. The plot is so transparent! Essentially, gerald might want to use the animal he is the most familiar at, which is hedgehog, (either that or giant ugly lizard), but... still....
Why not just clone her old body? Put her in that, hm?
Glad ya asked! Then authors will state that putting her in a mobian form is the only way to save her from NIDS! Which may also loop back to the shadow DNA thing.... (the shadow DNA plot stories are usually used with the chaos emeralds, master emerald, and Gerald robotnik)
***The Eggman!! -- Eggman is the number three bringer-to-lifer we have! With gerald coming in first, and shadow coming in second! (it's just crazy how many people can't think out of the box). Eggman wants a new minion, so he brings back a member of the family.... sigh...
***And quite, recently, there have been a rise of mephiles stories. He would bring her back and then try to kill her or something to get revenge on shadow.
***And, the many other's, I take my leave on you today. Though I will think of you later, my hands are getting tired and I want a rest
As a sidenote, all the people who made this up by themselves, or thought of it first, or thought of it, posted the story, then discovered all the other stories/comics/whatnot similar to yours? GREAT FOR YOU! You thought of it on your own, which makes it original!
(for the discovery people, a much lesser extent....)
Sadly, a lot of people can't think like that, and make only minor, MINOR adjustments to your plot and post it as their own. Oi...
(this rant was basically about hedgehog related material only, since those are the only ones being copied)

Though may I make a suggestion? Have you see 's version of Maria? I love the way she drew the bangs. Instead of making them all hard looking, why not try making a softer look like she did.
