Description -Rust Hunter (Audathera dromeus)

These rusty colored predators are a common life form in the forests and steppes. It is unknown why they have a distinctive rusty color.

-Feeding

Rust Hunters, like all Audatheres use echolocation to navigate and spot prey. They can easily take down medium or small size prey with their claws or jaws.

Their jaws are too robust to be used for chewing. So their feeding tentacles has evolved to become an arm like appendage, used for tearing up  their kills. The jaws have enough space for the appendage to be folded when the jaws are closed.

-Communication

Rust Hunters utilize their internal vocal chords to create sonar, they have been shown changing the decibel of their sonar to avoid detection by certain prey.

Communication in packs are important, Rust hunters are known to make bark-like noises, growls, howls and many other noises.
