Created while listening to Sumashu's cover of Last Song.All I'm saying is that I'm finally almost finished with the script for France's arc in Hetalia: Resurgence. France went from one of the least important characters in the game to having the third most important arc in part one literally overnight. I'm really impressed with his. It's utterly amazing. ;w; No spoilers though, so I shan't explain anything.

I don't know what the game's about, but I love how he's surrounded here by the three people he cares about the most. France gives me a lot of feels.

Nobody except me knows what the game's about at this point, not even any of the members of my crew helping me work on it. XD I refuse to give anyone an explanation on anything because I just know I'd delve way too much into spoiler territory if I did.

When do you think the game will be done and what program do you use for it?
I use RPG Maker VX Ace.

I have no clue when the game will be done. I'm kind of just waiting on my crew to finish up right now before I can release the demo.

I use the trial version of VX Ace, and while the program is great it IS a trial version,
so some things are kind of limited in what you can do.

It's pretty good. There are a few problems I've had with it, but I've been able to work around them.
Yeah, that's the nice thing about having the full version. I was lucky and got it while it for a special deal and it was pretty much free. I just had to download an app in order to get it, but that wasn't much of a hassle. I just downloaded the app, got my free RPG maker, and then uninstalled the app. It was a pretty awesome bargain. XD

What kind of problems did you have with it, if you don't mind me asking?
I hope to be able to get a full version of a RPG program one day,
so I guess I am curious what program which would be best to use.

Of course I don't mind! Nothing much. It's a bit frustrating that you can't use more than I think 5 tilesets at a time. I did get an addon that will allow you to switch between tilesets for different rooms, though, so I've been able to solve it. The only other problem is trying to work out cut scenes, but that's just a matter of learning the program. It can be a bit difficult, but it's an all around good program.

When you talk about the problems with the cut-scenes, can you tell me an example?

It's just a matter of figuring out how to make them run smoothly. Getting the music to start on cue, getting characters to move at the right moment. It's not an actual problem, it's just a bit complicated to figure out.

Oh, so this is a game you're making? (I'll admit, I'd seen a bit of stuff in my DA watch about a game, but I didn't think to connect it with this until just now.) I thought this was for a fan-made game like HetaOni or something.
I know, I just love how Beautiful World delves into his soft side. ;_;

Yeah. It's kind of on hold right now because everyone on the team is a bit busy with it nearing the end of the school year, but I hope I can get at least the demo done soon.
For me, those episodes alone make watching Beautiful World worth it.

They definitely are some of the best in the series. I've heard that Beautiful World is going to be dubbed this summer, and I really hope they do a good job with those episodes and don't ruin their serious tone.
