Yep, the paranoidandroid rom lets you change nav bar color and transparency for individual apps

yeah, I thought that it was the kind of feature that paranoid android offers. I might switch from stock at some point.

It's just the stock 4.2 Jelly Bean style of digital clock. I keep switching between liking it and disliking it! Liking at the moment

What theme are you using and how did you get the status bar and navigation bar background transparent (or was that apart of the theme)

It's the paranoidandroid rom which lets you choose custom colours and transparency for both nav and status bar for individual apps. In this case, I set my settings for Apex Launcher to be transparent
