That didn't surprise me. Half of Pokemon's fan base loves the shit out of Charizard. I always thought he was overrated and kinda bland. Blastoise was my home boy. :V

Bulbasaur was a good one. It was my starter during my very first run of Red version (I heard he was best against the gym leaders). But then I thought Blastoise looked really bad ass with the cannons sticking out of his back so I picked Squirtle on my second run. Since then I always picked water, except in X & Y and Gold & Silver I picked Typhlosion and Delphox.
