I can't stop looking at this one, Stuart... this is definitely my favourite from you. It's because of my town. You just gave back the atmosphere perfectly. Some of my friends were looking at this paiting of yours as well and they think the same. Excellent work, absolutely, I must say that over and over again!

Just thought - would you like an high resolution jpeg photo to make a print?

Thank you again. I think that the music I listen to when I am painting integrates with the "feel/atmosphere". Whenever I look at the painting I hear the song "know what the night can do" I got it right because of the music. I have some more of your photos in my "intray of insperation" but I think I need to give B&W a rest for a while. I have never sold a painting - but I have given a few away as presents or donations. My studio is getting very full. I appreciate your comments - thx

Wonderful, Stuart!
This paiting of you is my absolutely favourite so far. The photo I took in my town and you gave back everything of it brilliantly. It couldn't just be anywhere else but there and I know everybody would recognize that who has ever been around here.
Really, congratulations! You done a perfect work, once again!

Thank you I am really pleased you like it. I would be interested in knowing the name of the street/square?? Keep up your great work - it's my motivation.

I'll try to do my best You know, when your work is able to inspire someone, I think that's all that matters.
It's the "KlauzΓ‘l square".

Thank you. I think not trying too hard works with texture - and letting one layer go really dry/hard before next colour/shade is overlaid. Cheers.

It certainly has a very profound mood - it doesn't need any more work.
