I really love the darker tones you incorporated into this. Gives it an intensity and togetherness that your other recent works seem to have lost a little--no offense--and I genuinely like this work.

this is a shining example of the creative process that i commented on.
this was so much about the journey.. the image just sort of took a life of it's own and well.. this is the end result.

most of my images happen that way.
it's funny i will get comments from people asking the meaning behind something, or what was i trying to say... and in reality very rarely do i have a specific meaning. if there is one it just sort of develops. all of the words i use are snippets from old words and magazine articles-- so i try and find some that seem to work with the image.

hey chatty patty! i know what ya mean. i have a big aesthetic filing cabinet in my head and what i do depends on what files i open that day. maybe some files don't have labels! then something else could influence this along the way, for example the song that's playing right now! also i like to have fun! maybe do a dance!

sometimes i even stumble across files that i didnt even know i had in my head.
ii find the creative process interesting... or at least how people approach it and think of it.
music is definitely an influence...and so is the lack of music sometimes.

im not that chatty (at least not yet.. after work definitely will be very chatty and giggly)

same here.. to invoke bob ross. i have 'happy accidents'
just about every cool think i learned about photoshop (and i am completely self taught) was mostly by accident.

i am indeed looking forward to after work.. some wonderful giggly refreshments, a few cocktails and a night out at my favourite bar for some socializing and drag queens.
