I'm going to post high quality reprints of some of my better cartoons over here on Deviant Art because of a problem with Google--they refuse to list most of my older material and none of my new stuff on Image Search.Original drawing, 9-1/2x12 inches in pen and ink on Borden & Riley #234 Paris Bleedproof 11x14 paper, scanned and colored in Photoshop. Done in response to a news story about a cheerleader thrown into jail for allegedly stealing her uniform and also to comment on the Hamas Farfour Mickey Mouse clone, inspiring Palestinian children to jihad. Also because I like Kim Possible

Didn't mean it to be "mean" to Kim (although it kinda is LOL) so let me give you the context. I do a political cartoon blog and one week, there was a story about some cheerleader being arrested and put in jail for "stealing" her uniform--another idiocy of "zero-tolerance" policies--at the same time, Hamas was producing a TV show telling kids how wonderful it was to die as a martyr by being a suicide bomber and using a Mickey Mouse clone as the propaganda figure. So naturally, considering how many times Kim has to run off in her cheerleader outfit, I decided to put Disney's top cheerleader in jail with that horrible terrorist, Mickey Mouse. I wanted to juxtapose two innocent people, Kim and the real MM, against the real world with a cheerleader and a real terrorist both being treated as criminals. I loved "Kim Possible"--thought it was the best thing on Disney for AGES.

Disney was pretty schizo about that. On the one hand, he offered an image of the future that was dystopia disguised as utopia, and on the other hand, he offered, as role models, rebels like Robin Hood and Zorro. Not to mention the American revolutionaries.
