My pleasure and I see, it takes patience to create something from nothing. I bet drawing or painting its way more easy, but in a way that's a struggle too. ^^

I wouldn’t say it’s easier to draw or paint—in fact the reason this monkey is here is because I’m struggling with a monthly challenge piece. I finally got the pencil sketch done, but this one is hard and I don’t know why. So, a monkey.

Oh, I’ve been sketching the same challenge the last several days and I’m struggling—I’m working in a smaller scale and I am having trouble with the size and my idea seems to be too complex. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to, but I’m going to try and push through it, but the sketch alone has been taking hours! (And thanks!)

I understand your dilemma.  I often have a idea that I struggle to get on paper. My ideas often are greater than my skill set. I do the same as you. I push through it. I don't like  being a quitter either.
