Description
In light of their failures in the battle against Earth’s Kaiju, the Vortaak saw fit to design and create a Kaiju greater than even their own Gigan and Megalon. Harvesting a bizarre crystal-organic swarming lifeform and combining it with DNA obtained from battles against Godzilla, they created an unholy fusion of tyrant and parasite, one who became known as Spacegodzilla.
Spacegodzilla served the Vortaak well; he made for a devastating opponent to Earth’s Kaiju thanks to his raw power and bizarre abilities, most prominently the ability to infect the land with crystalline structures and use them to power himself. But as time went on, Spacegodzilla began to display another trait unexpected of him; a grand and cold intelligence, one that harboured desires and plans beyond what his creators had anticipated for him.
So far, these desires consist of nothing more than to destroy his progenitor, Godzilla, and claim the title of King of Monsters for himself. But the Vortaak harbour fears that perhaps Spacegodzilla may one day seek to turn against them and claim Earth for himself…
Diablos Rating: 5 (Capable of terraforming planets via crystalline physiology, annihilating surface ecosystems irreparably)
Height: 380 feet (400 at tip of crystals)
Weight: 5443 tonnes
Length: 670 feet
Sapience: Spacegodzilla is disturbingly intelligent, far more intelligent than a human and capable of long-term strategies and tactics akin to an experienced military warlord.
Sex: Spacegodzilla is male, as derived from Godzilla. The crystalline organisms fused to him are asexual.
Diet: Like Godzilla, Spacegodzilla absorbs radiation to fuel himself. He also derives energy from his crystalline symbionts, prominently the ones he grows upon planets/unfortunate victims.
Powers/abilities: Flight/Space Travel/Survival: Bizarrely, Spacegodzilla possesses the ability to fly without visible means of propulsion, despite the fact that neither of his base DNA sources can fly themselves. This is possibly a reflection of his immense and odd energies as well as his telekinetic aspects. Regardless, Spacegodzilla’s flight is potent enough to allow him to travel through space and through atmospheres without incident.
Energy Beam: Though derived from Godzilla, Spacegodzilla cannot project radioactive blasts. He can, however, shoot a beam of concentrated energy that appears electrical in nature. This beam is a devastating attack that can raze landscapes, sear the flesh of other Kaiju and render electrical systems utterly destroyed. This blast is primarily launched from the mouth, though he can project smaller beams from crystalline tips, such as his tail or claws.
Crystalline Projection/Manipulation: Spacegodzilla is fused to the very cells with the crystalline organisms growing across his body, and as such he has an intimate connection with them. He can project and grow the crystal across himself, spawning blades and barriers out of his very flesh. Even if the crystal is snapped off of him, he can levitate them and use them as projectiles.
Crystalline Seeding: Spacegodzilla can spread the organism fused with him wherever he goes, scattering crystals that will take root and begin draining energy from their surroundings. As they grow, they can form impressive structures, ranging from spires to fortresses, likely influenced by Spacegodzilla himself. This is arguably his most devastating power, since he could well transform Earth itself given enough time.
Telekinesis/Telepathy: Spacegodzilla has the ability to influence objects around him telekinetically; while this ability is very weak, and incapable of affecting other Kaiju, it is definitely a threat to humans and their constructs. He can also communicate with humans and other Kaiju telepathically, provided he is within a certain distance from the subject.
Weaknesses: Crystal parasitism: Though fused with them and capable of controlling them, Spacegodzilla’s crystalline components are parasitic in nature and continually act to overtake their host. If Spacegodzilla is ever forced into a powerless position, he runs the risk of being overwhelmed by the parasite.
Arrogance/Insecurity: Spacegodzilla is immensely powerful, and thus he is immensely confident in his own strength. At the same time, he nestles a deep-rooted insecurity, a fear that he will never be anything more than a mere clone. Both of these traits, whilst certainly motivating for him to prove himself, can be exploited and used against him.
Crystal spires: Spacegodzilla can grow structures of crystal on sections of other planets, tapping into them to fuel himself with greater energy. If these spires were destroyed, it would enact a negative feedback that weakens him, rendering him vulnerable to attack.
Notes: Spacegodzilla! What a funky freak this guy is; a Godzilla from space spouting crystals everywhere. Hardcore. Designing him was lots of fun, because he's basically a super dinosaur tricked out with weaponised bling. I opted for a more theropod stance than the typical humanoid, ala Gigan, with slightly disjointed hips and a thinner mid-section to make him seem like a little bit starved maybe, a bit alien. Gave him a long flexible neck, aiming for a kind of hunchbacked look, with longer arms, big feet/crystal toes and a thinner tail.
The big thing is the crystals, of course. They've pretty much enveloped him, massive outcrop on the back, crown on the head, the lower jaw, all that good stuff. I liked the concept of this sort of pseudo-organic parasitic crystal alien thing that grew on stuff, absorbing energy and producing its own, and it made Space-G more alien and a bit more, I dunno, logical in how he grows all the crystal. Logical in the barest sense, of course, because nothing about this dude is logical

Why thank you. I'm quite proud of how this crystal-toting menace came out

I can certainly see why. It is quite powerful....

Yeah, he's a tough one. In my lil' Godzilla headcanon-series-thing, he's one of the most powerful antagonists and one of the most powerful Kaiju overall.

Well, monsters in Godzilla need to be powerful to handle the kinds of things that world's beasts are capable of, yet not so much so as to be broken. And you gave realistic and reasonable weak points to it, which shows you put some thought into this and didn't come up with it in 5 seconds and slap on just anything.

Oh absolutely. All of them are tough as heck, but all of them have a trait that can impede them, given others a chance to overcome them.
Spacegodzilla has his high-risk/high-reward strategy in establishing crystal fortresses; they can power him up, but if they get blown up, his strength will be sapped!

Or not.

Well, he is trying to conquer Earth, wipe out humanity and generally be a jerk. He probably deserves it
