Remember the good old days of MK9, when Mileena and Skarlet were the dynamic duo, the bad girls, Shao Kahn's Angels? Loyal and vicious assassins, gleefully killing all in the name of their Emperor and bathing in the blood/body parts of their victims! Skarlet thought those happy days would last forever, just her and her Mileena, bathing in blood together for the glory of Outworld!

Alas, Mileena has moved on, found a new girlfriend in Tanya whilst carrying out her rebellion, and poor Skarlet wasn't even allowed into the game. Her body is formed of blood and sorcery, and yet her tears are formed from heartbreak....

I really enjoyed playing Skarlet in MK9, easily one of the most fun characters for me, and I was sad, so sad, to see she wasn't in MKX. Even Kung Lao's undead ass got a slot, but poor Skarlet has no fun.
She's in the MKX comics at least, so (unless she dies in it) maybe there is hope for her in the future. Her gimmick is too cool to leave behind!
