I know most of you will agree when I say that it is simply tiresome trying to navigate through FFnet and deviantART. To say that greatness isn't very widespread can be very accurate -- especially in the cases of fanfiction. I have lamented for ages over finding some actual good Danny Phantom fanfiction in particular, because usually it is a cliche Danny x Sam story that isn't well written (I love Danny x Sam, but for goodness sake...), or simply a retelling of what has already happened (and some of this fanfiction isn't even a well-written retelling). In some cases, there are even those awful Mary Sues that are paired up with Danny in some way, sometimes even made-up halfas. Actually, that can be said for most of the time...

But sometimes, looking around deviantART and FFnet for those rare gems that make you want to read it over and over again and actually hook you into the fandom and make you want to draw -- that search can occasionally be worthwhile. In the case of me, I was just looking around =ecokitty 's page (she has some awesome stuff, so go visit her) and I managed to find such an enthralling and beautiful fanfiction that seriously had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading -- Lab Rat .

I was seriously losing hope for a good portion of the fanfiction part of the Danny Phantom fandom, but ~AnneriaWings brought my hope back full force. I seriously can't stop reading this fanfiction. I am absolutely amazed by the quality of her fanfiction -- and if you haven't read it already, I absolutely recommend reading it right now. It's not one of those dumb, cliche fanfictions that you see constantly throughout fanfiction.net; this one is a diamond in a dozen. It's a spectacular read and it has touched me so greatly.

I am totally serious. I know I can be sarcastic about certain works of art, especially when I write a long description such as this (lol serious case of tl;dr), but I am totally serious about this one -- I would seriously not be drawing this in Butch Hartman's style to the best of my ability if I wasn't. I believe that my doodles here don't even do the fanfiction justice -- but I hope ~AnneriaWings likes them, anyway.
